Don't Procrastinate

I have been so busy here lately. I have been filling out a lot of applications such as: RA, scholarships, SOS, Ambassador, housing, and a student competition located at the Baum Gallery. It's easy to say that there has been a lot on my mind. Anytime there is, I stay stressed and I feel like I have to rush all the time. I think that's with any situation. I try to stay positive and get to things when I can, but at the same time, I procrastinate. I don't mean to, it's just I really don't think about doing something until it's down to the "nitty gritty" (hehe).

I keep a planner and write EVERYthing down. I include all the details that go in my everyday life. And I have just recently learned that writing down when you do different things, really helps. Because one day you will need to go back and look at those dates. By having a planner, it helps you see when something is due or an event coming up, and how long you have before it gets here. So it's for your personal use.

I am glad the weather is starting to get warmer. I love the spring, right before school gets out. It's not too hot and not too cold. I love it! But this cold stuff has been here far too long. I obviously couldn't last in the northern part of the US. But I am so used to Arkansas weather that it seems like it should start getting warmer anyway. The only thing missing is the sun, haven't seen it in a while. I have included a picture of our fountain, because that's what it looks like on a beautiful sunny day. So when you look at it, hopefully it will bring warmth to you.

So keep a planner, stay organized, stay on top of things, keep warm, relax, and Don't Procrastinate! And don't forget to Smile!

Have a Great Day! =)

"Bear with Me"

Believe it or not, I have never had a blog. I do have a facebook and myspace, and had a xanga and an aol screen name. But, I have never kept up with a blog. That was one of the reasons why I wanted to do this, so I could give it a try. I like writing about how I feel and talking about my day, but I hate writing papers. Weird, I know. Anyway, I look forward to writing in "My" blog everyday. If anything, I hope students who are thinking about coming to UCA will read all of our blogs and get a sense of how life here really is. If I would have known that a year ago, I definitely would be reading these blogs. I love to encourage the younger generations. Especially if it's about college - the most important part of their lives. Even though I am in my first year, I have experienced a little more than they have. I love helping people. So I hope my blog, and the blogs of others, really reach out to high school, or even college students. Not just to make them want to come, or transfer, to UCA; but for the many other subjects we might talk about. Because no matter the teenager, chances are there is someone else out there going through the same thing.

So to everyone - Bear with me through this blog. I am getting used to it as I go along.

Have a great day! =)
